The beds were decently comfortable (not the best but did not hinder our snooze), and there was plenty of space to stow our stuff so we did not have to look at suitcases, etcetera. all week. Being right about the beach is certainly the selling point and our favourite aspect of this house.
The house layout is nice. Absolutely needs some paint, repairing up in a handful of places and new furniture. The place was very clean and that’s what was most important to us. They say location is everything, and I'd have to agree here. The place alone is in desperate need of an overhaul. Everything worked, it felt secure, and also the location was awesome, however it's just within the ragged edge of falling apart, in general. I do not mean to complain much too much, but basically the windows had been all really in need of replacement, as had been the doors, the trim, much in the home furnishings, and so on.

I loved that there were two bedrooms with king size beds. That is SO great for Grown ups who want to travel jointly. But unfortunately unless some improvements are made to this home, I would not rent it all over again or advocate it to a friend.

From the outside, the property looks a little “operate down” compared to neighboring properties. But from the looks of your neighboring properties, they would be well away from our price variety. The inside photos have been accurate and everything worked fine.

We experienced a terrific time! Amethyst Dunes was the proper little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location over the beach was well worthwhile!
Liked our stay and loved the beach! The house matched The outline as did the pictures. We loved browsing the nearby communities of the “Forgotten Coast”.
